Borna Battery Manufacturing Company was established and started operation in 1990. In addition to collaboration in codification of National Standard for Starter Batteries, this company is the first to receive Iran’s National Standard Certificate in manufacturing batteries, and it also has ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 16949:2009 from IMQ in Italy. It has also received several national and international certificates pertaining to the quality of its manufactured products. Currently, Borna Battery factory is located in an area of more than 30,000 sq. m. in Mobarakeh Industrial Park, manufacturing and suppling all kinds of automobile batteries with capacity range of 35 to 200 amp hour in two types of DIN & JIS using Expanded Metal Technology.
